Cultural scholar and moderator Saša Božović opened the event by emphasizing Njavro’s roles as president of the Dubrovnik Writers’ Society and editor of the esteemed annual Literat. Njavro’s literary portfolio includes two short story collections and two volumes of columns focused on Dubrovnik, a city integral to his artistic identity.
