Miljić was not only a renowned professor of world literature but also a prolific publicist, historian, writer, literary critic, and member of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts (DANU). Throughout his career, he demonstrated unwavering dedication to Montenegro, the Montenegrin language, and the pursuit of an independent Montenegrin Orthodox Church.
