Foo Fighters Set for Seven Stadium Shows in Australia in 2026

The iconic rock band Foo Fighters has officially revealed plans for a significant return to Australia in 2026, following a successful one-off performance in Tasmania last month. As part of their global Take Cover Tour, the band will perform seven stadium shows across the country in November, marking their first national tour since 2023.

Kicking off on November 5, 2026, the Foo Fighters will take the stage at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. The tour continues with a highly anticipated concert at Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville on November 7, followed by a performance at Accor Stadium in Sydney on November 10. The band will then head to McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle on November 12, before thrilling Melbourne fans at Marvel Stadium on November 14. Their Australian tour concludes with a show at Coopers Stadium in Adelaide on November 17, and they will wrap up their stay in Australia with a performance at HBF Park in Perth on January 25, 2027.

The Foo Fighters will also extend their tour to New Zealand, with planned performances at Orangetheory Stadium in Christchurch on January 19, 2027, followed by a final concert at Western Springs Stadium in Auckland on January 22.

This tour follows the band’s extensive global itinerary that began in May 2026, including shows across the United States and Europe. Fans in the UK, Italy, Spain, and Canada will also have the opportunity to see the band before they return to the US for a national tour in August.

In a nod to their support for Australian music, the Foo Fighters have enlisted local talent as support acts for their Australian shows. Brisbane’s Full Flower Moon Band, Belair Lip Bombs from Victoria, and the all-female band The Bouys from Sydney are among those set to perform alongside the rock legends. Additionally, the band aims to recruit local bands in each city as further support.

Pre-sale tickets for the Foo Fighters Take Cover Australian Tour will be available for Telstra Plus members starting on February 20, 2026, with a pre-sale for Frontier Members beginning on February 23. General ticket sales will open at staggered times starting on February 25, promising a chance for fans to secure their seats for what is expected to be an exhilarating series of performances.

Anticipation for the tour has been building since the band teased their return to Australia in December 2025. A prominent billboard featuring the band was spotted in Hobart, Tasmania, igniting excitement among fans. The accompanying caption, “Give me a reason, show me a sign,” references a line from their latest single, Asking For A Friend, which further fueled speculation about their return.

As the Foo Fighters continue to captivate audiences worldwide, their upcoming Australian tour promises to deliver the high-energy performances the band is renowned for, ensuring a memorable experience for fans across the nation.
