Elvis Costello Expands 2026 Tour with New UK and European Dates

Elvis Costello and The Imposters, featuring guitarist Charlie Sexton, have announced additional dates for their 2026 tour, titled “Radio Soul!: The Early Songs of Elvis Costello.” In response to strong demand, the tour now includes a total of 13 performances across the UK and Europe. Notably, a new show has been scheduled for June 20 at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, with other stops in cities such as Brighton, Stockholm, Hamburg, and Oslo.

Originally unveiled in December 2025, the tour was set to kick off with five initial dates in Birmingham, London, Portsmouth, Newcastle, and the TW Classic festival in Werchter, Belgium. The lineup features Costello alongside The Imposters, which includes members Steve Nieve, Pete Thomas, and Davey Faragher. Charlie Sexton, renowned for his time with Bob Dylan, has been collaborating with Costello since the 2021 “Hello Again” tour.

Ticket sales for the new dates will commence with a pre-sale on February 4, 2026, at 10:00 local time, followed by a general sale two days later. As the tour name suggests, attendees can expect a focus on early works from Costello’s extensive catalog, including tracks from his 1977 debut album, “My Aim Is True,” and the 1986 release, “Blood & Chocolate.” These albums were pivotal in establishing Costello as a significant figure in the music industry.

“Those nine years marked a pivotal time for the singer,” stated a representative, highlighting the significance of this period in Costello’s career.

Additionally, Costello and The Imposters are set to support Neil Young and The Chrome Hearts during a series of UK and European dates as part of their “Love Earth” world tour. This leg of the tour will kick off on June 19 in Manchester, continuing through France and Scotland before heading to Ireland and Wales in July.

The tour expansion follows the release of “King Of America & Other Realms,” a six-CD anthology that debuted in 2024, chronicling the iconic 1986 album of the same name. Fans can expect selections from this LP during the mid-show interlude.

In other news, a new music festival named State Fayre is slated to launch in the UK this summer, featuring headline performances by Costello, Neil Young, and Kings Of Leon, among others. Last year, Costello participated in a tribute event where he joined artists like Adam Granduciel and Sharon Van Etten to cover Bob Dylan tracks, showcasing his enduring influence in the music scene.

As anticipation builds for the 2026 tour, fans are encouraged to secure their tickets early to experience a memorable journey through Elvis Costello’s early musical landscape.
