Pavle Bojović, a standout student at the Mechanical Engineering Faculty of the University of Montenegro (UCG), has achieved an exceptional academic record, culminating in a perfect average of 10. This remarkable accomplishment earned him the prestigious award from UCG for the 2025/26 academic year. The award was presented by the rector of UCG, Professor Dr. Vladimir Božović, during a formal ceremony held at the university’s rectorate.
Born in Podgorica, Bojović completed his primary education at Radojica Perović Elementary School and continued his studies at Slobodan Škerović Gymnasium, where he specialized in mathematics. Currently, he is in his third year of the Mechanical Engineering program, where he has demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence.
“I chose Mechanical Engineering because it has always fascinated me. The principles governing the functioning of mechanisms, machines, and technical systems capture my interest,” Bojović stated.
He highlighted a particularly significant moment in his academic journey: the formal award ceremony recognizing the top students at the Mechanical Engineering Faculty, which celebrated the faculty’s 55-year anniversary. Reflecting on his time in the program, Bojović recalled a pivotal decision he made during his second year. Faced with the choice of retaking two exams on which he had scored a 9, he opted instead to strive for a perfect average. “That was the turning point—a moment when I decided to continue on the path of a 10.0 average,” he explained.
Among his numerous achievements, Bojović considers the award for the best students at UCG for the 2025/26 academic year a special honor and validation of his hard work. His fellow students describe him as highly talented and dependable, emphasizing his potential and character. “He is not only a reliable colleague and loyal friend but above all—a good person with a bright future ahead,” one of his peers remarked.
For those considering enrolling in the Mechanical Engineering Faculty, Bojović has a clear message: “You will not regret it. Mechanical Engineering offers a wide range of career opportunities, and the demand for mechanical engineers today is very high and well respected.”
As Bojović continues his studies, he sets an inspiring example for other students, demonstrating that dedication and a commitment to excellence can lead to remarkable achievements in academia.
