Jovetic Urges Adzic to Seek Loan from Juventus Immediately

UPDATE: Stevan Jovetic has just confirmed that Vasilije Adzic should seek a loan from Juventus to showcase his talent more effectively. This urgent advice comes ahead of Juventus’s critical UEFA Champions League match against Pafos, scheduled for December 9, 2025.

In an exclusive interview with Italian media, Jovetic highlighted the need for Adzic, a promising young player, to gain more playing time. “Vasilije is a good kid with the right mindset. He works hard and deserves more minutes on the pitch,” Jovetic stated, emphasizing the importance of regular play for development.

Adzic has started only twice this season, including a match against Atalanta in Serie A and a recent encounter with Bodo/Glimt in the Champions League. Since that game in Norway, he has spent three matches on the bench, raising concerns about his growth. Jovetic expressed his discontent with this treatment, stating, “You can’t bench him for a mistake against Atalanta when he previously helped the team win against Inter. What message does that send? This is completely wrong.”

Aligned with the advice from fellow players Dejan Savic and Mirko Vucinic, Jovetic suggested that a loan move in January could be beneficial for Adzic. “It would be better for him to go on loan to a mid-table club where he can get more minutes. Playing for a strong team is under immense pressure, and he needs to relax and prove his quality through consistent playing time,” Jovetic advised.

Notably, Jovetic, who has played for clubs like Fiorentina and Inter, drew parallels between Adzic and English football legend Frank Lampard, praising his physical strength and skills. “Vasilije just needs to play,” he reiterated.

As Juventus prepares for their clash with Pafos, Jovetic also warned about the Cypriot team’s formidable lineup. “Pafos is a strong team with an ambitious management team. Their coach, Juan Carlos Carcedo, pushes the team to perform well. They have quality and fast players, and they will come to Turin looking to secure points,” he said.

He specifically pointed out that Pafos’s notable player is David Luiz, but emphasized the importance of playmakers like Pepe and Mislav Orsic. “They have quick players and can be a real threat,” Jovetic concluded.

With the January transfer window approaching, all eyes will be on Adzic to see if he takes Jovetic’s advice and makes a move that could redefine his career trajectory. As Juventus faces Pafos, fans will be eager to see how this pivotal match unfolds.
