With hybrid work now the norm, firms are no longer satisfied with just optimizing traffic; they require integrated security measures that protect users and applications consistently, regardless of their location. Analysts highlight that 83% of large enterprises have committed to adopting Zero Trust frameworks, a clear indication of the urgency surrounding this transition.

The rise of integrated architectures merging connectivity with services like Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and Cloud Web Security (CWS) is reshaping security budgets across industries, including Fortune 500 companies. Powar notes that leaders are seeking not just faster networks but also integrated trust solutions. “Enterprises are no longer satisfied with isolated tools; the real takeaway for leaders is to focus on unified strategies that secure access consistently across every user and application environment,” he adds.

In response to escalating cyber threats, technology providers are expected to meet stringent demands for responsiveness, low-latency connectivity, and seamless integration of network and security operations. The urgency of these requirements is reflected in a projected global cybersecurity market value of $193.73 billion in 2024, expected to skyrocket to $562.77 billion by 2032, growing at a CAGR of 14.4%.

Gartner forecasts that by 2027, 65% of new SD-WAN purchases will be part of a single-vendor SASE offering, a significant leap from 20% in 2024. This shift underscores a growing recognition that trust and scale must be engineered together rather than viewed as separate goals.
