URGENT UPDATE: West Midlands Police are intensifying their search for four of the longest-serving fugitives on their most wanted list. These suspects, wanted for serious crimes, have evaded capture for over five years, and their mugshots have garnered over 137,000 views in a public appeal for information.
Detectives first appealed for information about Sayed Hersi in June 2020, but his whereabouts remain unknown. The 46- or 47-year-old is wanted for breaching a court order, yet police have released scant details about him. Authorities emphasize the importance of public engagement in these cases, stating: “Anyone with information has been asked to get in touch via Live Chat on our website, or by calling 101. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
Another fugitive, Dann Hudson, aged 33, from Shirley, is also on the run after breaching license conditions related to a wounding charge. In 2020, police confirmed that efforts to locate him are ongoing and urged anyone with details to reach out.
Meanwhile, Neil Harrison has been missing since early 2021 after failing to appear in court on charges related to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and breach of a court order. Police are urging the public: “If you see him or have any information, please contact us via live chat on our website or by calling 101.”
Additionally, Ajay Soni is wanted for his alleged involvement in an attempted murder in Digbeth in May 2021, where three men were attacked. Soni has been evading authorities since November 2021, prompting police to reiterate their call for public assistance: “If you know Ajay’s whereabouts, please get in touch.”
The West Midlands Police’s most wanted list serves as a crucial tool for detectives, enabling them to gather public assistance in capturing wanted individuals. Despite repeated appeals and increased public pressure, the hunt for these four suspects continues to yield no results.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to act immediately, as even the smallest detail could lead to breakthroughs in these long-standing cases. As the search intensifies, community involvement remains vital in bringing these fugitives to justice.
