The latest episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! aired on November 30, and it stirred a wave of emotional reactions from fans, particularly regarding contestant Jack Osbourne. During a poignant segment where campmates received letters from their loved ones, Jack was left without one, prompting calls for a rule change to ensure all participants receive this connection.
The episode featured a challenge named ‘Blender Defenders’, where contestants competed to win letters from home. While the campmates managed to secure ten out of eleven letters, Jack’s absence left a significant impact on the group. His fellow contestant Martin Kemp expressed his disappointment, stating he felt Jack “needed the letter the most” following the recent passing of his father, rock icon Ozzy Osbourne, earlier this year at the age of 76.
As letters were read aloud, the camp atmosphere became increasingly emotional. Contestant Vogue Williams broke down, sharing her longing for her children and husband. Other contestants, including Lisa Riley, Shona McGarty, Eddie Kadi, Angryginge, and Aitch, were visibly moved by the heartfelt messages they received.
Despite the emotional turmoil around him, Jack maintained his composure, insisting he was fine without the letter. Yet, his campmates struggled with guilt over his exclusion. Fans took to social media, particularly X (formerly Twitter), to express their heartbreak and demand a new rule ensuring that all campmates receive letters after completing tasks. One viewer wrote, “I’m sorry but everyone should have a letter; they need to change it to make sure it happens. Jack didn’t deserve to miss out #ImACeleb.” Another fan echoed these sentiments, stating, “Just doesn’t feel right that Jack has to listen to these heartfelt letters and not be able to hear his.”
In other developments from the episode, Lisa tackled her first solo Bushtucker trial, chosen by public vote. The trial, named ‘Mine of Misery’, took place in an abandoned underground diamond mine. Lisa had to search for diamond stars in the dark, navigating on her hands and knees while avoiding dummy diamonds. At the end of the challenge, she successfully collected eight out of a possible eleven diamonds, returning to camp with the good news.
Additionally, Eddie Kadi opened up about his unexpected journey into comedy. He revealed that his father had initially envisioned him as a doctor or lawyer. Reflecting on his rise to fame, he shared, “I couldn’t tell my parents I was doing this; they had no idea. They wouldn’t have approved. For them, it was a waste of time.” Eddie recounted how he was discovered while hosting an event and subsequently invited to perform at a comedy club, where audiences connected with his stories about life and family.
Fans can catch the next episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! tomorrow night at 21:00 on ITV1 and ITVX.
