Dublin Designer Daki Zdravka Rezic Gains Fame from Celebrities

URGENT UPDATE: Dublin jewellery designer Daki Zdravka Rezic is making headlines after receiving high-profile endorsements from Siobhan McSweeney, the host of The Traitors, and rising pop star CMAT. This surge in recognition comes just ahead of the Gifted, Contemporary Craft and Design Fair, set to take place from December 3-7 at Dublin’s RDS.

Rezic, 46, began her journey crafting jewellery at her kitchen table, having previously pursued careers as a midwife and Montessori teacher. Her transition into jewellery design gained momentum after she attended a course at the National College of Art and Design. The Croatian native, who operates under the brand Daki Daki Design, has now captured the attention of fans and celebrities alike.

Earlier this year, McSweeney showcased Rezic’s handmade earrings on the reality show The Traitors Ireland, filmed at Slane Castle. “I was watching The Traitors and she wore four of my brass and aluminium pieces throughout different episodes,” Rezic shared. The exposure led to an influx of messages from viewers, significantly boosting her profile.

Weeks later, CMAT wore a pair of Rezic’s earrings in the music video for her single “When A Good Man Cries.” This double endorsement marks a significant turning point in Rezic’s career, validating her artistic journey.

Rezic credits a pivotal book, “The Artist’s Way“, for igniting her passion for jewellery. “It unleashed something in me,” she explained. Starting from humble beginnings, she now creates vibrant, chic accessories designed for everyday wear.

Her commitment to sustainability is evident, with pieces made from upcycled materials, including durable metals and Pinatex—a leather alternative derived from pineapple leaves. “They are bold yet wearable, and no two pieces are exactly the same,” Rezic stated.

As the Gifted Fair approaches, Rezic is poised to show her work to over 400 exhibitors and thousands of attendees, solidifying her place in the contemporary jewellery scene. With her designs gaining traction among notable figures, the future looks bright for this talented designer.

Stay tuned for more updates as Rezic prepares for this important event, which could further amplify her growing brand.
