Jimmy Eat World Announces EP ‘Something(s) Loud’ for Nov. 14

BREAKING: Jimmy Eat World has just announced their highly anticipated EP, ‘Something(s) Loud’, set for release on November 14, 2023. This exciting new collection will include recent singles along with a brand-new track titled ‘Failure’, which has never been released before.

Originally recorded in 2019 during the sessions for the band’s acclaimed album ‘Surviving’, ‘Failure’ was engineered and mixed by none other than Ken Andrews, co-founder and vocalist of the influential band Failure. Fans can expect a fresh take on the band’s sound that resonates with their journey over the last few years.

Frontman Jim Adkins shared his thoughts on the EP, stating, “By 2021, it felt like distancing restrictions were finally easing, and we could get back on the road. Our Surviving album had barely been released before we were performing live again and reconnecting with fans.” He emphasized the need to offer more to their audience after the pandemic, saying, “It didn’t feel right to tour without offering something more, so we took the chance to share a few more tracks we’d been working on.”

The EP will feature a total of six tracks, including:
1. Something Loud
2. Failure
3. Place Your Debts
4. Something Loud (Acoustic Version)
5. Call To Love (ft. Bethany Consentino)
6. Place Your Debts (TW Walsh Remix)

Fans can already preorder their copy of the EP through various music platforms. This release comes at a time when listeners are increasingly gravitating toward playlists rather than full albums, prompting the band to adapt to their audience’s preferences.

As anticipation builds for ‘Something(s) Loud’, Jimmy Eat World continues to demonstrate their commitment to evolving with their fans and the music industry. With this new EP, they aim to create a deeper connection with listeners who have supported them through the ups and downs of the past few years.

Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the release date, and don’t miss the chance to experience Jimmy Eat World’s latest offerings.
