UPDATE: In a shocking turn of events, Radosav Stanisic, a suspected member of the Kavac crime clan, was shot and hospitalized early this morning in Podgorica. Authorities report that the incident occurred shortly after midnight, when Stanisic arrived at the Urgent Care Center with a gunshot wound to his left lower leg.
Police swiftly launched an investigation, confirming they are actively working to uncover the circumstances surrounding Stanisic’s injury. According to a police statement, he has refused to cooperate with officials, providing limited information about the incident.
The situation escalated as authorities imposed a citywide blockade to control and question several individuals linked to the case. Among those detained was L.B., a 29-year-old citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who was found in an Audi vehicle with Stanisic. During the search, police discovered a Walter pistol with 15 rounds of ammunition, which was seized as evidence. L.B. has since been arrested on suspicion of illegal possession of firearms and explosives, following an order from the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica.
