The live-action adaptation of the popular video game series “God of War” has expanded its cast with the addition of four new actors. Evelyn Miller, Ben Chapple, Louis Cunningham, and Island Austin will bring key characters to life in the Amazon Prime Video series, which is currently in pre-production in Vancouver.
Evelyn Miller will portray Gna, the Valkyrie commander loyal to Odin. Described as a fierce and disciplined warrior, Gna’s devotion to her master approaches fanaticism, often sacrificing her own well-being for the sake of serving him.
The three additional cast members will play the children of Thor and Sif. Ben Chapple takes on the role of Magni, the adventurous eldest son who is a charming immortal seeking a deeper purpose in life. Louis Cunningham will depict Modi, the gentle middle child, characterized by his insatiable curiosity and problem-solving mindset. Meanwhile, Island Austin is set to play Thrud, the youngest child, who stands out as a precocious and inquisitive figure, known for her peacemaking tendencies and thirst for knowledge.
While Chapple and Cunningham are cast in key recurring roles, Austin and Miller will be series regulars. They join a talented ensemble that includes Ryan Hurst as Kratos, Callum Vinson as Atreus, Teresa Palmer as Sif, Max Parker as Heimdall, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson as Thor, Mandy Patinkin as Odin, and Alastair Duncan as Mimir. Notably, the role of Freya has yet to be announced, alongside smaller roles such as Tyr, Faye, and Athena.
