Osborne shares a hack recommended by creator @saucceats, which replaces traditional pan frying with an air fryer. This method works effectively for frozen cuts of meat, allowing for a quick and convenient dinner option. In her experience, Osborne noted, “When I sliced into the steak, I was genuinely surprised. It wasn’t perfect, of course. The sear on one side, for example, wasn’t nearly as good as it could have been. It was quite delicious, though—delicious enough that I’m here writing about it for you.”
For those who may forget to defrost their steak, this air fryer method offers an easy solution. The process begins by applying a layer of neutral oil to the frozen steak, which helps salt adhere and promotes browning.
