LG Innotek Showcases Innovative Mobility Solutions at CES 2026

At CES 2026, LG Innotek is set to unveil its latest advancements in mobility solutions, highlighting the integration of autonomous driving technology and electric vehicles (EVs). The exhibition, taking place in Las Vegas from January 6 to January 9, 2026, has generated significant interest, particularly around LG Innotek’s innovative products designed to enhance the future of transportation.

The company, led by CEO Moon Hyuksoo, has prepared a booth that spans approximately 330.58 square meters at the Las Vegas Convention Center’s West Hall. Prior to the exhibition, on December 5, 2025, LG Innotek provided a preview to domestic media, showcasing their commitment to a future-oriented theme centered around autonomous vehicles.

Upon entering the booth, attendees will immediately encounter a mock-up of a futuristic autonomous vehicle. This vehicle features a total of 16 products related to Autonomous Driving (AD) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). In a shift from traditional presentations, LG Innotek has organized its offerings into integrated software solutions, emphasizing a customer-centric approach as the company evolves into a comprehensive mobility solutions provider in the era of AI-Defined Vehicles (AIDV).

The autonomous vehicle mock-up prominently displays LG Innotek’s flagship offerings, especially its Autonomous Driving Convergence Sensing Solutions. Among these are vehicle camera modules that integrate seamlessly with LiDAR and radar technologies. Noteworthy products include the Heated Camera Module, designed to quickly clear snow and frost, and the Active Cleaning Camera Module, which can remove water and debris from the lens in just one second, both enhanced by LG Innotek’s proprietary software.

A highlight of the exhibition is the ultra-compact LiDAR system, co-developed with U.S. firm Aeva, which makes its debut at CES 2026. This system can detect objects up to 200 meters away, effectively addressing the limitations of existing camera technology. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience this cutting-edge technology firsthand by sitting in the driver’s seat of the mock-up, exploring its features through an LED screen that showcases LG Innotek’s unique autonomous driving capabilities.

In addition to autonomous driving technology, the mock-up also introduces the Next-Generation Under-Display Camera Module, which offers precise facial recognition while remaining hidden behind the dashboard. This module utilizes LG Innotek’s advanced AI image restoration software to maintain high image quality. A dual recording feature allows users to create content while driving, adding a modern touch to the driving experience.

Another significant feature is the Ultra-WideBand (UWB) Radar, which enhances in-cabin safety with Child Presence Detection (CPD) and a Kick Sensor for hands-free trunk operation. Vehicle lighting innovations are also on display, including the CES 2026 Innovation Award-winning Ultra-Thin Pixel Lighting Modules, which integrate into Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs) and turn signals. These modules utilize ultra-high-resolution pixels for precise rendering of letters and patterns, and the new ‘Nexlide Air’ product debuts at this exhibition, showcasing LG Innotek’s commitment to design flexibility and pedestrian safety.

Connectivity solutions are another focal point, featuring a 5G NTN Module for blind-spot satellite communication, a Vehicular AP Module serving as the AIDV “brain,” and a UWB Digital Key that enhances safety through precise short-range communication technology.

To further illustrate its advancements in the EV sector, LG Innotek has created a dedicated EV mock-up showcasing core components. This display includes 15 integrated solutions, such as the world’s first 800V Wireless Battery Management System (BMS), developed in partnership with B-Link. This innovative system combines batteries and the Battery Junction Box (BJB) into one unit, resulting in lighter and more efficient battery packs.

CEO Moon Hyuksoo expressed optimism about the exhibition, stating, “CES 2026 presents a valuable opportunity to secure new business prospects in autonomous driving and EVs. Through this exhibition, we will leap forward as a mobility innovation company, delivering distinguished value to our customers.”
