Dell has officially reintroduced its iconic XPS brand, unveiling new models at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026. After facing considerable backlash for discontinuing the XPS line last year, the company has promised that the latest laptops will deliver a superior user experience. The refreshed laptops, the Dell XPS 14 and XPS 16, are designed from the ground up, featuring significant upgrades aimed at enhancing both performance and aesthetics.
The new laptops boast a striking design, complete with the XPS logo prominently displayed on the casing. Constructed from premium materials such as aluminium and durable Gorilla Glass 3, these devices are not only visually appealing but also robust enough for on-the-go use. The engineering team has focused on reducing weight and thickness, resulting in the thinnest XPS laptops to date at just 14.6 mm.
Performance is a key focus for Dell’s latest offerings. The XPS laptops are powered by the latest Ultra processors from Intel, promising faster speeds, improved graphics, and enhanced efficiency. Dell has also integrated a reengineered 4K web camera, the narrowest 8MP camera ever in a Dell laptop, which aims to elevate video conferencing experiences.
Exceptional Features Enhance User Experience
Battery life is another highlight of the new XPS models. Equipped with 900ED (energy density) cells, users can expect more than 27 hours of use on a single charge. This impressive longevity is complemented by edge-to-edge touch displays and high-quality speakers featuring Dolby Atmos technology, ensuring an immersive audio-visual experience.
The keyboard has also seen improvements, offering better stability to minimize accidental presses, while a seamless glass touchpad integrates smoothly with the laptop’s design. With a focus on usability, the new XPS models are designed to provide a high level of comfort and functionality for users.
Dell’s commitment to quality is underscored by the company’s statement during the CES event. “Today at CES 2026, we unveiled the new Dell XPS 14 and Dell XPS 16. XPS has always been our benchmark for premium laptops. The new laptops are rebuilt from the ground up, delivering striking design, speedy performance, impressive displays, and exceptional battery life—all in a compact device built to move with you,” said a Dell spokesperson.
As the tech landscape continues to evolve, Dell’s revival of the XPS brand signals its determination to regain a foothold in the premium laptop market. With a combination of cutting-edge technology, elegant design, and user-centric features, the new XPS laptops are poised to attract both loyal customers and new users alike.
