Caroline Whittaker Honoured with MBE for Nursing Contributions

Public Health Wales has announced that Caroline Whittaker, a retired Professional Lead for Nursing Midwifery and Standards Manager, has been awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) as part of the King’s New Year Honours list. This prestigious recognition acknowledges her significant contributions to nursing and voluntary service in Wales.

Caroline expressed her gratitude for the honour, stating, “This honour is a great privilege. I am proud to have worked alongside dedicated colleagues at Public Health Wales and across the NHS in Wales, to support the nursing and midwifery professions.” She highlighted the collaborative nature of her work and shared the recognition with those who have inspired and supported her throughout her career.
