A new play space designed to spark children’s creativity has opened in Aintree. The Mini Villagers Role Play Village, located on Hanson Road, features a miniature village environment where children can engage in imaginative role-play while providing a relaxing atmosphere for adults.
The venue boasts 11 child-sized workshops that replicate various real-life settings. Among these are a police station, hospital, market, beauty salon, and fire station. This thoughtful design allows children to immerse themselves in various roles, enhancing their play experience. In addition, an onsite café offers visitors refreshments, including coffee supplied by Crosby Coffee, along with a selection of food items such as paninis and acai bowls.
Owner Jessica Maristani shared her vision for the space, highlighting the importance of creating a comfortable environment for both children and their parents. She explained, “As I became a parent, I also became more aware of how overwhelming many children’s spaces can feel for adults. Loud music, harsh lighting, constant noise, and visual overload often leave parents feeling drained rather than supported.”

Maristani emphasized that colours, materials, and layout were selected with intention. “The softer colours also create a calmer, more welcoming environment for parents,” Maristani noted. By prioritizing both children’s and adults’ experiences, the venue seeks to redefine how families interact in play spaces.
