Man Arrested for Allegedly Abducting and Assaulting Minor

A man identified as G.A., aged 42, from Plužine, has been arrested under suspicion of abducting an 11-year-old minor against their will, inflicting injuries, and making threats. The incident, reported by witnesses, led to a swift response from local authorities.

According to the Police Directorate, G.A. is facing serious charges, including violent behavior and unlawful deprivation of liberty. Officers from the Regional Security Centre “West” apprehended him following an emergency report regarding the incident. It is alleged that G.A. used physical force to take the minor to his apartment, where he continued to threaten the child verbally, again employing physical intimidation.

In the aftermath of the incident, the police acted promptly. They located G.A. and brought him into custody, where he provided statements for the investigation. Notably, a breathalyzer test indicated that he had a blood alcohol concentration of 1.85 g/kg, raising additional concerns about his state during the alleged offenses.

The minor was taken to receive medical attention, where doctors confirmed that the child had sustained minor physical injuries. The police have kept the local prosecutor’s office in Niksic informed about the developments in the case.
