Moorhouse reflected on Barney’s life, saying, “He was so happy, content and excited about the future. The sweetest, kindest soul.” He shared the heartbreaking detail that Barney “just went to sleep and didn’t wake up,” expressing uncertainty about how the coming days would unfold but finding comfort in the love that surrounded them. “I am him and he is me. Sleep tight Barney. Dad x,” he concluded.
